Estimation support
- Extract quantities (areas, lengths, counts) from drawings for BOQs and cost estimates
- Prepare the BOQ from the quantity take off.
- Prepare marked-up take-off drawings that link each measured area to its BOQ line item
- Compare drawing revisions and flag scope or quantity changes that affect cost
Planning and site support
- Visit sites to take measurements and prepare survey drawings of existing conditions
- Prepare phasing and staging of the site work and site logistics layouts to support project planning
- Coordinate with design, project and procurement teams so drawings match the latest scope
Documentation
- Maintain drawing registers, revision control and CAD standards (layers, title blocks, file naming)
- Check drawings for accuracy and completeness before they are issued for estimation or tender
