Role: Documentum Consultant
Location: Kolkata, Chennai
Client: TCS
Employment Type: Full-time with NAM Info Pvt Ltd (Payroll)
Experience Required: 8+
Must-have: 8+ years of total experience in the below :
- Has performed Documentum on-prem upgrades. Such as with OpenText Documentum Server versions 22.x, 23.x or later. Opentext cloud edition experience is a plus.
- Has a detailed experience with deploying and configuring D2 SmartView.
- Has installed or upgraded OTDS in the past. Has configured it for several repositories for AD-synched and inline user accounts.
- Has experience with either upgrading or installing most of these components: Content Server, D2 SmartView, xPlore full-text, and DA. Webtop is a plus.
- Has used DFC API or DFS API for custom development. Documentum REST Services or Documentum D2 REST Services are a plus.
- Background in Linux and Windows Server 2019 OS or later.
Positive-to-Have
- Solutioning expertise of migration of Documentum
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, or equivalent DevOps tools.
- Experience in Azure Network Topology ExpressRoute, VPN, Security, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID
Responsibility:
1 Design end-to-end content management solutions, complex workflows, and document lifecycles.
2 Develop and optimize Documentum Query Language (DQL) and integrate repositories
3 Administer and maintain Content Servers, D2, Webtop, xPlore, and Documentum Foundation Services (DFS).
4 Audit legacy OpenText Documentum systems to analyze folder structures, metadata schemas, security models, and workflows.
5 Define how source metadata and files map into the target system. Design taxonomies and implement data cleansing strategies.
6 Develop and execute migration scripts using tools like fme Migration Center or custom Java/Python coding. Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure data integrity.
7 Post-migration support to resolve defects and train end-users.
