Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Developer to streamline software development and deployment processes, manage infrastructure, and improve system reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to automate workflows, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable application environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and application environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and routine operational tasks.
- Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, system failures, and production incidents.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain version control workflows using Git.
- Apply security best practices across infrastructure, deployments, and access management.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and software development lifecycles.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of Linux administration, networking, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Git and configuration management practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, and compliance practices.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
- Exposure to Agile and collaborative software development environments.

Work Workplace The DevOps Developer will work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment efficiency, strengthen system reliability, and support secure technology operations at Shriram General Insurance.
