Role Description The Design Manager will oversee interior design operations with a strong focus on process management, team coordination, and quality control. The role involves monitoring design workflows, reviewing drawings and deliverables, tracking project timelines, and ensuring adherence to established standards and processes. The manager will coordinate with designers, project managers, vendors, and site teams to ensure smooth handovers from design to execution,



timely resolution of issues, and consistent accountability across projects.

Qualifications

- Solid interior design and spatial planning skills, with a portfolio demonstrating residential and commercial work.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in project coordination and management, including scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, construction methods, and quality standards relevant to interior projects.
- Ability to lead and mentor design teams, provide clear feedback, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting concepts and managing expectations.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to make sound design and execution decisions under time constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of experience in a design leadership role.
