We are hiring for Design Engineer – Civil & Structural (Substation) for Delhi. Details of the job profile are as follows:

1. Prepare civil and structural design drawings for AIS/GIS substations and switchyards.

2.Perform structural analysis and design of equipment support structures, gantries, beams, and steel structures. 3.Design foundations for transformers, Reactor, circuit breakers, CTs, CVTs, isolators, lightning arresters, and other substation equipment.

4.Prepare foundation layouts, reinforcement details, structural drawings, and construction drawings.

5.Prepare designs and drawings for control room buildings, GIS building, switchgear buildings, cable trenches, stormwater drains, internal roads, and culverts.

6.Design transformer oil containment pits, soak pits, transformer firewalls, and associated civil structures.

7.Perform structural analysis using STAAD. Pro and prepare drawings using AutoCAD.

8.Prepare design calculations, BOQs, quantity estimates, and technical documentation.

9.Review electrical layouts, equipment GA drawings, vendor drawings, and project specifications to finalize civil design inputs.

10.Coordinate with electrical, structural, and other engineering teams to resolve design-related discrepancies.

11.Positive working knowledge of Indian standard, international design codes and standards,



including British Standards (BS), Eurocodes (EN), and relevant international engineering standards.

12.Incorporate client comments and revise drawings and calculations as required.

13.Support the preparation and submission of drawings and documents for client approval.

Required qualification and experience :

1. BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
2. Minimum 3-4 Years
3. Department: Civil & Structural Design

4. Industry: Substation Projects

5. Technical Skills Required

- Working knowledge of STAAD. Pro and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of RCC and structural steel design.
- Understanding of foundation design and soil investigation reports.
- Familiarity with IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, and other applicable codes.
- Ability to read electrical layouts, equipment GA drawings, and civil/structural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and design documentation.

- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
