Responsibilities: -

- Aluminum Die Casting Design: Understanding of HPDC processes, die construction, part design, draft, wall thickness, fillets, parting line, slides/core mechanisms, etc.
- Develop and review HPDC die designs based on customer drawings, 3D models, and component specifications.
- UG NX & AutoCAD: Ability to create and modify 3D die-casting designs and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with manufacturing, tooling, quality, production, and customers to complete projects.
- Standards & customer requirements: Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, drawing requirements, and customer specifications.
- 2D/3D design & drawings: Robust ability to interpret and prepare engineering drawings, GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances, and design documentation.
- Support die casting simulation,



filling and solidification analysis, and optimization of die design.
- Manage die design reviews, design validation, and engineering change implementation.
- Optimize die design for tool life, productivity, casting quality, cycle time, and maintenance.
