What You Will DoWhat you'll do:

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Debt Syndication Associate/ Sr. Analyst. You will be part of the Investment Banking (Debt Syndication Practice). This is a 2.5+ year old business, which has closed 10+ transactions.

- Initiate Leads / Reach out to prospective SME / Mid Market Company to provide them with Structured / Alternative Credit Solution. Support origination efforts and client pitches alongside the senior team
- Structure and syndicate debt facilities across banks, NBFCs, AIFs, Privat Credit lenders
- Build financial models, credit notes, and information memoranda for client mandates
- Manage lender relationships and drive the syndication process end-to-end — from term sheet to disbursement
- Coordinate with legal, credit, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal closure

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Development:



Initiate and Support Origination Efforts which include identification, client pitches and relationship management
- Transaction Execution: Support the structuring, pricing, and documentation of syndicated loans, including drafting term sheets and information memoranda.
- Relationship Management: Liaise between borrowers, relationship managers, and syndicate members to ensure smooth operations and timely closing.
- Analytical Support: Perform due diligence, analyze financial statements, prepare deal presentations, and track market comparable data.

Required SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience: 2–3+ years in front-end debt syndication is a MUST.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and, frequently, experience with loan servicing software.
- Financial Knowledge: Robust understanding of credit risk, financial modeling, and loan documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for managing relationships and preparing documentation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data
