Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Talend.

- Develop ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, loading, and integration from multiple source systems.

- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.

- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL.

- Develop and maintain reusable ETL components, job sequences, transformations, and workflows.

- Perform data cleansing, data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

- Troubleshoot ETL job failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Optimize ETL job performance and improve data processing efficiency.

- Work with data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration frameworks.

- Support data migration, production deployments, and ongoing maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, QA teams, and other developers.

- Prepare technical documentation, mapping documents,



and unit test cases.

- Follow data governance, security, and development standards.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

- Practical experience with Talend Data Integration / Talend ETL.

- Good knowledge of ETL design, development, and troubleshooting.

- Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and query optimization.

- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration concepts.

- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.

- Knowledge of job scheduling, dependency management, and production support.

- Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
