About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Issue Management (DQIM) Lead for a leading Global Capability Center (GCC) in Chennai. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the regional Data Quality Issue Management framework—serving as the central coordination lead to identify, triage, track, escalate, and resolve enterprise data quality issues across global banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

Framework Execution: Develop and enhance the regional DQIM framework, standards, severity assessments, and root-cause analysis procedures.

Issue

Triage & Oversight: Coordinate the intake and prioritization of data quality breaks across business units based on regulatory risk, business impact, and SLAs.

Platform

Management (ServiceNow): Drive workflows, status definitions, governance controls, and reporting within ServiceNow (SNOW) as the core issue management platform.

Executive Reporting:



Build management dashboards, scorecards, and thematic reports on issue aging, root causes, and remediation performance for senior governance committees. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure timely issue resolution and audit readiness.

Key Qualifications

Min 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Risk Management within Banking/Financial Services.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) or enterprise issue tracking and workflow platforms.

Solid understanding of BCBS 239 principles, data governance frameworks, and regulatory expectations.

Strong track record in root-cause analysis, cross-functional stakeholder management, and regional delivery.
