Role Description The counselor role at EkasCloud London is a full-time hybrid position based in Tiruchirappalli, with some flexibility for work from home. The counselor will guide prospective learners and corporate clients in selecting appropriate cloud, DevOps, and AI training programs, explaining course structures, outcomes, and career pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations (online and in-person), responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate records of leads and enrollments, and following up with individuals to support their decision-making and onboarding process.





The role involves collaborating with trainers and the operations team to align learner needs with program offerings, organizing information sessions or webinars, and providing ongoing support to enrolled participants. The counselor is expected to use a consultative approach, focusing on learner goals, industry trends, and EkasCloud’s practical-first methodology to help individuals and organizations move from learning to implementation.

Qualifications

- Robust counseling or advisory skills with the ability to understand learner and client needs, recommend suitable programs, and provide clear guidance on career paths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathetic engagement, and professional presentation in both online and in-person settings.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing, DevOps, or AI concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CI/CD, Generative AI) or a willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including maintaining accurate records, managing follow-ups, and handling multiple inquiries efficiently.
- Experience in education counseling, training advisory, or customer-facing roles in technology or professional development environments is an advantage.
- Comfort with digital tools such as CRM systems, online meeting platforms, and productivity software to manage consultations and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Business, or IT-related fields are beneficial.
