Do you enjoy imagining what a space could be, rather than simply designing what is expected?

At The Design Forte, we believe that good landscape design begins with a question, an observation, or an idea that has not been explored before.

We are looking for a highly creative designer who can think beyond conventional solutions, explore possibilities fearlessly, and translate ideas into compelling spatial experiences.

This role is for someone who enjoys the early stages of design — exploring concepts, sketching, building 3D models, testing ideas, and bringing an abstract thought to life.

What you will do

- Develop original landscape and spatial concepts for residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, and public-realm projects.
- Explore multiple design directions through sketches, diagrams, spatial studies, mood boards, and 3D models.
- Translate design ideas into robust visual narratives and presentation-ready renders.
- Work hands-on with SketchUp and visualisation tools to test, iterate, and communicate concepts.
- Explore the relationship between people, nature, movement, materials, climate, and space.
- Present your thinking clearly, explain your design decisions, and refine ideas through constructive feedback.

Who should apply?
- Architecture or Landscape Architecture graduates, including freshers, are welcome. Candidates from related design disciplines may also apply if they demonstrate strong spatial thinking.
- You have a strong design sensibility and can generate ideas beyond familiar or conventional solutions.
- You enjoy sketching, visual experimentation, 3D modelling,



and exploring different ways to communicate an idea.
- You are proficient in SketchUp and at least one rendering tool such as Enscape, D5, Lumion, Twinmotion, or an equivalent.
- You can use tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual communication software to develop compelling presentations.
- You are curious about landscape, ecology, planting, materials, and how people experience spaces.
- You can take ownership of a design task, work independently, iterate quickly, and meet agreed deadlines.

What matters most to usYour portfolio matters more than your years of experience. We want to see how you think, how you explore an idea, and how you transform it into a spatial experience — not just a collection of polished renders.

Academic projects, independent explorations, installations, competitions, and personal experiments are welcome. You do not need an extensive professional portfolio to apply.
