Role & responsibilities
- Statutory Compliance: Managing timely payments and filings for PF, ESIC, Skilled Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF).
- Licensing: Securing and renewing mandatory store licenses under the Shops & Establishment Act.
- Audits & Inspections: Conducting internal audits at stores/warehouses and handling inspections by government labor officers.
- Vendor Management: Verifying that third-party contractors and vendors pay their workers according to legal standards.
- Employee Support: Assisting employees with their PF withdrawals, ESIC claims, and grievance resolutions.
