Role Purpose The Communications Manager will drive visibility, narrative building, storytelling and communication for RightWalk Foundation by closely working with program and fundraising teams, ensuring that communication directly supports narrative building, fundraising, donor engagement and public positioning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Storytelling & Fundraising Alignment

- Develop impact stories, community leader profiles and case studies for communication and donor use.
- Ensure communication outputs directly support:
- Donor engagement and reporting
- Campaigns and outreach
- Fundraising proposals

- Coordinate closely with the program and other teams to align content, campaigns and donor messaging.

1. Social Media Growth & Strategy (Focused Platforms)

- Develop and execute a targeted social media strategy to increase followers, reach and engagement on LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter (X), Facebook and Instagram.
- Create and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with:
- Program activities (trainings, events, impact stories)
- National/ awareness days and key moments

- Track and improve platform wise performance (views, reach, engagement).
- Ensure regular creation and publishing of videos, reels, impact posts and leadership content.

1. Program Visibility & Real-Time Content Capture

- Work closely with program teams to ensure visibility of all key activities.
- Capture and convert program activities into real-time content (posts, stories, videos).
- Ensure impact stories are developed and published monthly (website + social media).

1. Communication Materials, Design & Collaterals

- Develop and manage all communication collaterals, including:
- Impact story booklet
- Brochures, reports, posters, standees




- Event materials and fundraising decks

- Lead graphic design and basic video editing for campaigns and storytelling.
- Coordinate printing and production of communication materials as per event needs

1. Media Outreach & Public Positioning

- Tracking media trends, actively follow up with media contacts to publish leadership perspectives.
- Maintain and update a media outreach database and track follow-ups.
- Pitch stories to the development media outlets.
- Ensure visibility of RightWalk, its leadership and key initiatives in the relevant media.

1. Website & Content Platforms

- Ensure regular updates on the website, including:
- Impact stories
- Reports and updates
- Program highlights
- Learning Material

- Coordinate with external developers (if required) for maintenance and updates.

1. Content Systems & Media Database

- Maintain a structured repository of stories, photos, videos and communication materials.
- Manage media, donor and outreach databases (media list, awards list, content bank).
- Ensure all content is organized, accessible, and reusable.

Required Skills:

- Solid storytelling and writing skills (Hindi & English) for impact stories and stakeholder communication.
- Proven experience in managing and growing LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
- Ability to plan and execute content calendars and digital campaigns.
- Experience in media outreach (pitching stories, follow-ups, media database management).
- Skills in graphic design and video editing (Canva/Adobe).
- Ability to create communication collaterals (reports, decks, brochures).
- Experience in aligning communication with fundraising and donor needs.
- Ability to manage website updates and content systems.
- Recruiting and managing interns and freelance personnel
