Job Title: Collection Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Collection Executive to manage customer outstanding payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and ensure timely collection of receivables. The candidate will coordinate with customers, the sales team, and the accounts department to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize overdue payments.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Payment Follow-up: Regularly contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection as per agreed credit terms.
- Outstanding Management: Monitor customer outstanding balances, overdue invoices, and payment due dates.
- Customer Coordination: Communicate with textile buyers, dealers, and other customers regarding pending payments and payment commitments.
- Accounts Coordination: Coordinate with the accounts department to verify invoices, payment receipts, credit notes, and outstanding balances.
- Collection Planning: Prepare daily and weekly collection plans to achieve assigned collection targets.
- Overdue Recovery:



Identify overdue accounts, understand reasons for delayed payments, and take appropriate follow-up action.
- Customer Visits: Visit customers when required for payment collection, account reconciliation, and resolving payment-related issues.
- Payment Tracking: Maintain accurate records of customer follow-ups, promised payment dates, collection status, and pending amounts.
- Dispute Resolution: Coordinate with sales and accounts teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, rate differences, shortages, quality claims, and other payment disputes.
- Collection Reporting: Submit daily and weekly collection reports to management, highlighting collections achieved, overdue amounts, and pending commitments.
- Relationship Management: Maintain skilled relationships with customers while ensuring timely payment realization.
- Credit Control Support: Inform management about customers with repeated payment delays and potential credit risks.
