Job Responsibilities

- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for dimensional inspection of components.

- Inspect components as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.

- Perform dimensional measurement of components using CMM equipment.

- Create, run, and modify CMM measurement programs as required.

- Check GD&T; parameters such as position, profile, flatness, perpendicularity, and concentricity, as applicable.

- Prepare CMM inspection reports and maintain measurement records.

- Use CMM software such as PC-DMIS, CALYPSO, or other relevant software.

- Verify component dimensions against drawing tolerances.

- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.

- Maintain CMM equipment, probes, fixtures, and accessories carefully.

- Follow calibration procedures and ensure measurement accuracy.

- Support first-piece inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.

Required Skills





- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Basic knowledge of dimensional metrology and inspection techniques.

- Experience operating CMM machines.

- Knowledge of PC-DMIS / CALYPSO software is preferred.

- Ability to prepare and interpret inspection reports.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Height Gauge.

- Attention to detail and valuable problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience in automotive or precision component manufacturing preferred.

- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.

- Freshers with relevant CMM training may also apply.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
