Company Description Yuvraj Singh Foundation (YouWeCan) is a non-profit organization registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950, founded by renowned Indian cricketer and cancer survivor Yuvraj Singh. The foundation is dedicated to cancer control through public awareness, early detection, patient treatment support, and survivor care. It runs large-scale screening camps, self-examination trainings, and tobacco cessation initiatives across diverse communities.

The organization has screened over 140,000 individuals, trained tens of thousands in self-breast examination and tobacco cessation, and sensitized students nationwide. It also sponsors the complete education expenses of cancer survivor children from different parts of the country, demonstrating a robust commitment to long-term impact.

Role Description The Cluster Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Patiala, responsible for coordinating cancer awareness, screening, and support activities within assigned clusters. The role involves planning and executing field programs, liaising with local partners, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders, and ensuring timely implementation of foundation initiatives.

The Cluster

Coordinator will oversee data collection and reporting from camps and outreach activities, monitor program progress, and support logistics such as venue arrangements, mobilization of participants, and distribution of materials.



The role includes supervising field staff or volunteers, conducting regular follow-ups with beneficiaries, and helping connect patients and survivors to relevant support services.

The Cluster

Coordinator will also contribute to process improvement, documentation of best practices, and alignment of cluster operations with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong coordination and project management skills, with the ability to organize multiple field activities and meet timelines.
- Community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills, preferably within public health or social sector programs.
- Proficiency in basic data collection, documentation, and reporting using digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, online forms).
- Effective communication skills in English and local/regional languages, with the ability to conduct sessions and interact with diverse groups.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and empathy when working with patients, survivors, and vulnerable communities.
- Ability to work on-site and in the field, including travel within the cluster as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, community development, or a related field; relevant experience in NGO or healthcare programs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic concepts of cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection, or willingness to learn through training.
