Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in waterproofing, water leakage detection, prevention, and repair works. The candidate will be responsible for site inspections, identifying the root causes of water leakage, recommending suitable waterproofing solutions, supervising execution, and ensuring quality standards at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections to identify water leakage, seepage, dampness, and waterproofing defects.
- Diagnose the root causes of leakage in roofs, terraces, bathrooms, basements, water tanks, balconies, external walls, and wet areas.
- Plan and execute waterproofing and leak-prevention solutions using suitable materials and techniques.
- Supervise waterproofing applications, including cementitious coatings, liquid-applied membranes, bituminous systems, PU coatings, and injection grouting, as applicable.
- Prepare site reports, measurements, BOQs, material estimates, and work schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, applicators, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor workmanship, material consumption, safety practices, and quality standards.
- Conduct ponding tests, water-tightness tests,



and post-repair inspections where applicable.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned site activities and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain documentation of inspections, repair methods, material usage, and project progress.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in waterproofing and leakage prevention.
- Practical knowledge of waterproofing materials, application methods, and leakage diagnosis.
- Ability to read civil drawings, prepare estimates, and coordinate site execution.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.
- Knowledge of quality control and construction safety practices.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial, and building maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of waterproofing product specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Experience in leakage rectification, preventive maintenance, and defect analysis.
- Ability to manage site workers and coordinate with clients.
