Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil 3D Modeler with expertise in Dry Utilities design and modelling. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for preparing underground utility layouts, electrical duct banks, telecommunications networks, and utility coordination drawings for infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop civil 3D models and utility layouts using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Prepare dry utility plans for electrical power, telecommunications, fiber-optic networks, and street lighting.
- Model underground utility networks, conduits, duct banks, utility corridors, and manholes or handholes.
- Prepare utility plan and profile drawings, longitudinal sections, and cross-sections.
- Work with survey data, existing site conditions, alignments, levels, and underground utility information.
- Coordinate utility routes with roads, grading, drainage, wet utilities, and other infrastructure elements.
- Identify and resolve utility clashes and spatial conflicts.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Update drawings and models based on engineering revisions and client comments.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, utility designers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Maintain drawing accuracy, model quality,



and project documentation standards.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Experience in dry utility modelling and underground utility design.
- Knowledge of electrical duct banks, conduits, telecom and fiber-optic networks, and utility corridors.
- Experience preparing utility plans, profiles, sections, and construction drawings.
- Understanding of utility clearances, routing, elevations, and coordination requirements.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and design specifications.
- Knowledge of Navisworks or other coordination tools is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Civil 3D modelling, infrastructure drafting, or utility design.
- Experience in infrastructure, roads, highways, land development, or utility projects.
- Experience working on international projects, particularly US-based infrastructure projects, is an advantage.
