Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in New Delhi.

The Chartered

Accountant will oversee tax planning and compliance for NRI clients, including computation of capital gains, optimization of TDS and TCS, and preparation and review of tax returns and supporting documentation. The role involves advising on cross-border taxation, double taxation avoidance, and regulatory requirements related to property sales and remittances. The professional will coordinate with legal, banking, and operations teams to ensure accurate records, timely filings, and adherence to Indian tax laws and relevant regulations. Daily responsibilities also include preparing financial reports,



maintaining documentation for audits, responding to client queries, and contributing to process improvements and risk controls.

Qualifications

- Strong 2-3 expertise in Indian direct taxation, including capital gains, TDS, and TCS, with experience in NRI/International tax matters.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliation, and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to property transactions, remittances, and banking processes in India.
- Ability to interpret tax laws and regulations, draft clear tax positions, and provide practical, solution-oriented advisory to clients.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to explain complex tax concepts in easy terms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to managing multiple cases.
- Comfort working collaboratively with legal, operations, and external partners, and maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized body; relevant experience in taxation or advisory for NRI/real estate clients is preferred.
