About Agewell

Agewell is working to build a comprehensive continuum of care for older adults and their families. Our services span senior care, home-based care, rehabilitation, dementia care and caregiver support, with a focus on dignity, independence and quality of life.

We are now looking for an experienced professional to lead our Dementia Day Care Centre in Kolkata.

About the Role The Centre Head will be responsible for the overall management of the centre, quality of care, programme development, team leadership and family engagement.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day centre operations and ensure high standards of person-centred dementia care.
- Plan and supervise cognitive, physical, recreational and social engagement programmes.
- Develop and monitor individualised care plans.
- Lead, mentor and train care staff and activity facilitators.
- Engage with families and provide guidance on dementia-related care.
- Coordinate with psychologists, doctors, therapists and other professionals.
- Maintain care documentation and monitor participant progress.
- Support caregiver programmes, dementia awareness and community outreach.





- Who are we looking for?Professionals with a Master's degree or equivalent in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Gerontology, Social Work, Geriatric/Dementia Care, Occupational Therapy or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in dementia, geriatric or elderly care is preferred. Experience managing a care centre or multidisciplinary team will be an advantage.

RCI registration is not mandatory.

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, experienced, emotionally mature and a solid team leader, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with dementia and their families.
