Job Summary The Chef de Partie (CDP) will be responsible for managing and maintaining the assigned kitchen section, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, hygiene, and timely food preparation. We are hiring experienced candidates for the Hot Kitchen, Pizza Section, and Cold Kitchen who can work efficiently in a professional restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section: Hot Kitchen, Pizza, or Cold Kitchen.
- Prepare and present dishes according to the restaurant's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and food quality.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and sanitation.
- Monitor food stock, ingredient availability, and proper storage.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain effective portion control.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in menu preparation, recipe development, and new dish trials when required.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and workstations are clean and properly maintained.
- Guide and supervise Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely food preparation and service during busy operational hours.
- Follow all company policies, food safety procedures, and kitchen operating standards.

Section-Specific Requirements 1. CDP – Hot Kitchen

- Experience in preparing hot dishes, sauces, stocks,



and other kitchen preparations.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, temperature control, and food presentation.
- Ability to manage the hot kitchen section during busy service periods.

2. CDP – Pizza Section

- Hands-on experience in pizza preparation, dough handling, stretching, and baking.
- Knowledge of pizza toppings, sauces, cheese, and ingredient preparation.
- Ability to maintain consistency in pizza quality, baking, and presentation.

3. CDP – Cold Kitchen

- Experience in preparing salads, cold starters, dressings, appetisers, and other cold preparations.
- Knowledge of food storage, temperature control, and cold food presentation.
- Ability to maintain freshness, quality, and hygiene standards.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in a professional restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen.
- Previous experience in the relevant section is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage kitchen responsibilities efficiently.
- Good teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Meghalaya.
- Candidates must be willing to stay in Meghalaya and commit to a long-term position.
