CATEGORY SALES MANAGER – HEALTH, HYGIENE & HOUSEHOLD*

Our client is looking for an experienced Category Sales Manager with a strong background in health, personal hygiene, home care, and household products to drive category growth, expand market penetration, and strengthen distribution across assigned markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute category sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market-share targets.
- Expand distribution networks, improve outlet coverage, and ensure product availability across sales channels.
- Drive SKU performance, pricing strategies, merchandising, and trade promotions.
- Manage distributor relationships, channel development, and trade claims.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and monitor the sales team to achieve business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

- 8–10 years of relevant sales experience in health, hygiene, personal care, home care, or household product categories.
- Solid expertise in category sales, distribution management, and trade marketing.
- Proven experience in distributor management, channel development, and sales analytics.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, market penetration, and team performance.




- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to be based in Kampala, Uganda, with extensive travel.
