Calibration Engineer - Drivability Product Development

Role and Responsibilities:

- · Responsible for complete EMS software calibration and validation.

- · Responsible for calibration data management, calibration integration & release to customer.

- · CAN database verification / mapping during project development phase.

- · Environmental trials support for customer to meet the vehicle performance targets through EMS calibration optimization in varying environmental condition.

- · Guarantee the compliance of calibration process workflow with the standards defined by Client.

- · Customer Interaction on daily / weekly basis to understand vehicle / bench validation status and SW bugs.

- · 9 Customer reported defects needs to be validated and JIRA ticket to be created for internal / external tracking purpose.

- · 10 Customer interface for problem solving in industrialization, necessary support to internal and external customers.

- · To work on the current technology like BS-6 / Hybrids / AMT / DCT.

- · Travel to customer location to support development activities.

Minimum Educational Qualification Required:





- · Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, with a preference for an M.Tech in Automotive Engineering.

- · Minimum Experience Required: 4-9 years

Skills Required

Technical Skills

- · Expert level experience Engine control system or Transmission Control System

- · Basic Knowledge of System Calibration

- · Basic knowledge Base calibration

- · Expert Level Knowledge Start and Idle calibration

- · Expert Level Transient, component protection, CAN interface, AMT and DCT inteface integration and calibration

- · Expert level knowledge in Take off calibration

- · Basic knowledge In gear accln, dccln, tip in tip out , etc driveability calibration

- · Expert level knowledge ETAS INCA

- · Basic knowledge OBD Daignosis

- · Intermediate knowledge in Matlab

- · Basic knowledge in Vector Tools
