Role Summary

D J H S & Associates invites aspiring Chartered Accountants to join its team as Article / Apprentice Trainees. The firm serves large Indian businesses and multinational companies, with guidance from experienced partners, including professionals with Big Four experience.

This role offers practical exposure to audit, taxation, and professional client services. Success means delivering accurate work on time, communicating effectively, demonstrating a willingness to learn, and maintaining professional integrity. Trainees support the firm’s client engagements while developing the skills needed for a career in chartered accountancy.

Responsibilities

- Assist senior team members with audit and taxation assignments.
- Review financial records, supporting documents, and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare working papers, schedules, and documentation for assigned engagements.
- Support tax computations, return preparation,



and compliance activities under supervision.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to obtain information and resolve queries.
- Research relevant accounting and tax matters as required.
- Meet assignment deadlines and promptly communicate progress or issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and apply feedback to improve work quality.

Qualifications

- Pursuing the Chartered Accountancy course and cleared both groups of the Intermediate examinations.
- Positive verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong willingness to learn and an aptitude for professional excellence.
- Interest in developing a career in audit and taxation.

Stipend

- First year: ₹15,000 per month.
- Second year: ₹16,000 per month.
