Planys Technologies is looking for a skilled Software Engineer – Core Software to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative underwater robotics and ROV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, modify, and maintain system software components.
- Support research and development initiatives.
- Develop new features using robust software engineering practices.
- Write software to control and interface with embedded hardware such as cameras, microcontrollers, wireless devices, and signal-processing equipment.
- Develop module-specific test suites to ensure software quality.
- Conduct ROV testing in controlled environments and real-world conditions.
- Troubleshoot issues identified during field trials and document solutions.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adopt the latest software frameworks and tools.

Required Skills:

- Strong programming knowledge in C/C++ and Linux.
- Working knowledge of Python, Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Good to Have:

- Knowledge of video and multimedia processing tools such as FFmpeg and GStreamer.
- Understanding of video codecs.
- Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, PIL, and scikit-image.
