Role overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Billing & Quantity Surveyor Engineer with experience in civil construction and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects. The candidate will be responsible for client and subcontractor billing, RA bill preparation, BOQ management, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, cost control, and site measurement verification.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling end-to-end billing and quantity surveying activities while ensuring accurate documentation, timely bill submissions, and effective coordination with site teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit RA bills for clients and subcontractors with all required supporting documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs from civil and PEB drawings and prepare or validate BOQs.
- Verify site measurements and reconcile executed quantities with BOQ and billing records.
- Track work executed, quantities billed, bills certified, and payments received.
- Verify subcontractor bills and identify discrepancies, duplicate claims, or overbilling.
- Perform rate analysis, cost estimation, and project budget tracking.
- Prepare and submit variation claims and extra item bills with proper documentation and approvals.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, clients, and subcontractors for billing and measurement reconciliation.
- Monitor bill certification, payment follow-ups, and outstanding receivables.
- Prepare billing progress reports,



cash flow statements, cost reports, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, BOQ provisions, approved rates, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, billing documents, approvals, and payment status.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–10 years of experience in billing and quantity surveying in construction projects.
- Hands-on experience in client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Strong knowledge of RA bills, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis.
- Experience in civil construction projects; exposure to PEB or steel structure projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel, including formulas and PivotTables.
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems is preferred.
- Understanding of construction drawings, site measurements, contracts, and variation claims.
- Positive communication, coordination, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and coordinate with execution teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidate who can independently manage the complete billing and QS process.




- Professionals with practical site measurement and quantity reconciliation experience.
- Candidate experienced in cash flow tracking, bill certification, and payment follow-ups.
- Candidate with exposure to both civil construction and PEB/steel structure projects.
