Role Description The BIM Coordinator is a full-time on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for managing and coordinating BIM workflows across multidisciplinary project teams. This role includes setting up and maintaining BIM models, enforcing project standards, and ensuring model accuracy and consistency for MEP, architectural, structural, and construction deliverables. The BIM Coordinator will facilitate clash detection and issue resolution, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders,



and support the production of shop drawings and other project documentation.

Daily activities also involve working closely with engineers and designers to optimize model efficiency, preparing progress reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid BIM coordination skills, including experience with Revit, Navisworks, and other industry-standard BIM tools.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in model management and quality control, including clash detection, model auditing, and adherence to BIM standards and protocols.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of MEP, architectural, and structural systems, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in project collaboration and communication, including coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholder inputs, and documenting issues and resolutions.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify and mitigate design and coordination risks.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering / architecture fields, or proven experience in BIM coordination within the AEC industry.
- Experience with LOD development, 4D/5D BIM, and large-scale or international projects will be considered an added advantage.
