: Azure DevOps Engineer at Trask

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the implementation and continuous improvement of our Azure-based development and deployment processes. Responsibilities

1.

Azure Infrastructure

Management

- Design, deploy, and administer Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and security groups.
- Monitor and optimize Azure infrastructure performance, availability, and scalability.
- Regularly update Azure resources to ensure high security standards and compliance.

Continuous

Integration and Deployment (CI/CD)

- Set up, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools and practices.
- Automate the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and error-free software releases.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any CI/CD pipeline issues.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop, manage, and improve infrastructure deployment templates using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or similar tools.
- Implement infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Ensure version control and proper documentation for infrastructure deployment scripts and templates.
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Implement and configure Azure monitoring and logging solutions, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
- Set up alerts and notifications for proactive monitoring of infrastructure and application health.
- Conduct regular analysis of monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Security and Compliance:




- Collaborate with information security and compliance teams to implement and maintain security controls and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic security assessments and vulnerability scanning of Azure infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation measures.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and project managers to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Document infrastructure designs, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure components, including VMs, networking, and storage.
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and experience with tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in the Azure ecosystem (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, etc.).
- Experience in implementing and maintaining security controls and compliance requirements in an Azure environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
