About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. You will own CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, run containerized workloads on AKS, and make sure our infrastructure is secure, scalable and highly available. Strong hands-on Azure and Azure DevOps experience is the most important requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, release management) and GitHub Actions.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes (AKS).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates).
- Monitor application health using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics; troubleshoot deployment and production issues.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate build, test,



release and deployment processes.
- Ensure security, scalability and high availability of cloud infrastructure (RBAC, Key Vault, network security, secrets management).

Must-Have Skills (Priority Order)

1. Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps (primary skills)
2. CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps (YAML, release pipelines, environments, approvals) and GitHub Actions
3. Azure deployment and release management
4. Docker containerization
5. Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
6. Linux administration and shell scripting
7. Monitoring and logging: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics

Valuable to Have

- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
- Helm, GitOps (Argo CD / Flux), Azure Container Registry (ACR)
- DevSecOps tooling (SonarQube, Trivy, Defender for Cloud)
- Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) or CKA

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant DevOps/cloud experience with real Azure production exposure
- Currently based in Chennai or willing to relocate; must be available for a face-to-face interview
