Role Description The Automotive Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Urban Motocade in Koramangala. This role involves greeting riders, understanding their service and repair needs, and translating these requirements into clear job orders for the workshop team. The advisor will provide service recommendations, explain maintenance and repair options, prepare estimates, and keep customers informed on job status and timelines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with technicians, ensuring accurate documentation, managing appointments, and supporting the smooth flow of vehicles through the workshop.



The role also includes handling customer queries, resolving concerns, promoting relevant accessories and upgrades, and maintaining high standards of safety, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair, with a strong understanding of motorcycle systems and basic diagnostics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, including the ability to manage expectations, resolve concerns, and build long-term rider relationships.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for explaining technical information in transparent language, preparing service documentation, and coordinating with workshop teams.
- Relevant experience as a service advisor, workshop coordinator, or in an automotive/motorcycle service environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of motorcycle accessories, riding gear, and performance upgrades is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop setting, with attention to detail, time management, and basic computer skills for invoicing and job tracking.
- A diploma or certification in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
