Required Skills
- 1–4 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on automation experience.
- Practical knowledge of Playwright for web application testing.
- Basic to valuable proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Understanding of Playwright locators, assertions, hooks, fixtures, and test execution.
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Basic understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM, and browser developer tools.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Selenium or Cypress.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to test reporting and automation framework maintenance.
