Role Description The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading and executing financial and compliance audits for a diverse portfolio of clients. The role includes planning audit engagements, assessing internal controls, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The Audit

Manager will supervise audit teams, allocate work, review working papers, and provide guidance to team members to maintain quality and timeliness.



They will analyze financial data to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities, and present explicit findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, supporting tax and advisory engagements where needed, and contributing to process improvements within the firm.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements in audit or assurance environments.
- Hands-on experience conducting Financial Audits, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
- Robust Analytical Skills to assess financial data, identify risks, and recommend practical control and process improvements.
- Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent, or a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in audit management or leading audit teams, preferably within a professional services or consulting firm.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines while managing multiple engagements.
