Role objective:
Produce clean, natural-sounding audiobook chapters from raw narration using Pro Tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Remove mistakes, false starts, unwanted takes, and unnecessary gaps.
- Clean clicks, pops, mouth noise, and other distracting defects.
- Maintain natural pauses, breathing, pacing, room tone, and continuity.
- Use clip editing, trimming, nudging, fades, crossfades, clip gain, and playlist management.
- Organize sessions, maintain version control, perform self-QC, and export chapters.
Required skills: Pro Tools, dialogue editing, critical listening, audio cleanup, file management, and export workflows. Knowledge of iZotope RX is preferred where permitted.
Success measures:
Clean edits, no missing or repeated words, consistent audio, correct exports, and fewer avoidable QC returns.
Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
