ABOUT THE ROLE

We conduct stock audits for India's leading PSU and Private banks, including SBI, ICICI Bank, Canara Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, CSB, Karur Vysya Bank and others. Banks rely on our reports in deciding credit risk and monitoring of the inventory and receivables behind their working capital lending. You will be the face of our firm to the bank and the borrower, and you will own each audit from scheduling to final payment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Plan and schedule: Coordinate with bank branches and borrowers to fix audit dates, and manage your visit calendar so deadlines are met.
- Audit on site: Visit the borrower's factory, warehouse or office, and verify stock physically against the stock statements submitted to the bank.
- Verify the books and records: Reconcile stock with books of accounts, purchase and sales records, creditors, and book debts, and check the drawing power calculation.
- Report: Prepare clear, accurate stock audit reports in the bank's prescribed format, highlighting discrepancies, obsolete or slow-moving stock, insurance and statutory dues issues, and other risks.
- Submit and follow up: Submit reports within the bank's timelines, answer bank queries, and handle clarifications and revisions.
- Close the loop:



Raise invoices and follow up until payments are received, so each assignment is closed commercially as well as professionally.
- Build relationships: Be the day-to-day point of contact for bank officials and borrowers, with professionalism and integrity.

WHO YOU ARE

- Education: Graduate or Postgraduate, preferably in Commerce, or an MBA (Finance). CA Inter and Ex Banker who opted for VRS and having thorough Banks Credit Experience are welcome.
- Experience: 3 to 25 years in stock audits, concurrent audits, statutory or internal audit, bank credit monitoring or Finance role. Solid freshers with the right aptitude will be considered.
- Skills: Sound understanding of inventory, working capital finance and basic accounting; proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; preparation of PPT and CMA and good report-writing skills in English; confident, polished communication with bank officers and business owners; strong follow-through on deadlines and payment collection.
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, ethical and independent, and comfortable travelling locally for audits.

COMPENSATION

Prevailing market rate, based on experience and interview performance.

Travel allowance (TA) and all other expenses incurred for site visits will be paid by the company as per travel policy of company and bank .
