Role Description This is a full-time Associate role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in South Delhi with flexibility for some work from home. The Associate will draft, review, and revise contracts, legal opinions, pleadings, and other legal documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing statutes and case law, preparing reports and briefs, and supporting senior lawyers in client meetings, negotiations, and hearings.

The role also involves managing matter files, tracking deadlines, coordinating with court staff and external counsel when needed, and maintaining clear communication with clients regarding progress on their matters.



The Associate is expected to uphold professional and confidentiality standards, contribute to internal knowledge development, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications

- Robust legal research and analytical abilities, including familiarity with major legal databases and case law analysis.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and document review, with attention to detail in contracts, pleadings, and opinions.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability and professional judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the relevant Bar Council is preferred.
- Prior internship or work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is beneficial, particularly in transactional or litigation work.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client service, continuous learning, and staying updated on legal and regulatory developments.
