Role Description This is a full time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Electrical Engineering based at the LCIT Group of Institutions campus in Bilaspur.

The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate courses in electrical engineering and related areas, prepare lesson plans, develop laboratory exercises, and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.

The role includes guiding students in technical projects, mentoring them in academic and career development, and contributing to curriculum improvement.

The Assistant Professor will also engage in research activities, publish scholarly work, participate in departmental meetings, and support institutional initiatives such as seminars, workshops, and outreach programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and teaching capability in core Electrical Engineering subjects, including circuits, machines, power electronics, and control systems.
- Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech)



in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems and related analysis tools for planning, operation, and protection of electrical networks.
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Computer Science, including programming concepts, simulation tools, and computational methods relevant to electrical engineering.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Robotics, automation, and embedded systems applicable to modern electrical and electronic applications.
- Candidates should possess research skills, including problem formulation, data analysis, technical writing, and the ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
- Prior teaching, lab supervision, or academic mentoring experience at the undergraduate level is highly beneficial.
