Purchase Management - SCM BI

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement Management:
- Manage the procurement process for power electronic components, materials, and assemblies such as capacitors, inductors, power transistors, rectifiers, and heat sinks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors in the power electronics industry.

- Vendor Evaluation and Selection:

- Evaluate and select suppliers based on their product quality, delivery timelines, cost competitiveness, and industry reputation.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery schedules.

- Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

- Monitor inventory levels of critical components and raw materials to ensure smooth operations and production timelines.
- Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of stock to avoid production delays or shortages.

- Cost Optimization:

- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and production timelines.




- Conduct market research to stay updated on material prices and trends within the power electronics industry.

- Quality Control:

- Work closely with the quality control department to ensure all procured components meet industry standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of received goods for compliance with purchase orders and quality standards.

- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, spending, and savings to senior management.

- Collaboration with Other Departments:

- Work closely with the engineering, production, and R&D; teams to understand their component needs and specifications.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure alignment with production schedules and project deadlines.
