Purpose/Objective

Responsible for planning, monitoring, and execution of civil works related to Balance of Plant (BOP) in large-scale power projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Site Execution:- Oversee construction activities such as site leveling, grading, roads, drains, and foundations.
- Ensure proper dewatering systems to maintain dry work areas until completion.
- Technical Expertise:- Interpret and review civil drawings, engineering plans, and specifications.
- Conduct rate analysis, bill certification, and survey works.
- BOP Structures:- Manage civil works for coal handling plants, wagon tipplers, tunnels, stockyards, stacker/reclaimer, crusher house, etc.
- Planning & Scheduling:- Prepare and monitor project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.




- Coordinate with multiple departments for smooth execution.
- Quality & Safety Compliance:- Ensure adherence to IS Codes, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Monitor earth compaction, moisture content, dry density tests, and documentation.
- Resource Management:- Plan equipment mobilization, manpower allocation, and utilization.
- Reporting:- Compile and present project status reports to management.
