Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Nagpur branch. This role supports the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, including customer service, cash management, compliance, and branch administration. The position involves supervising team members, guiding them to meet sales and service targets, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies.

Manager will foster strong customer relationships, resolve escalated issues, and promote banking products that align with customer needs. The role also includes monitoring branch performance, preparing reports, participating in local marketing and outreach activities,



and contributing to a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and build long-term trust with diverse customers.
- Branch operations and banking process skills, including cash management, documentation, compliance, and risk awareness in a regulated environment.
- Team leadership and people management capabilities, such as supervising staff, coaching for performance, and promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Sales and business development skills, including cross-selling banking products, meeting branch targets, and contributing to local outreach initiatives.
- Analytical and reporting skills to monitor branch metrics, interpret data, prepare operational reports, and support informed decision-making.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with clear verbal and written communication and professional interpersonal conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field; prior experience in retail banking, microfinance, or financial services is preferred.
- Comfort with banking software and digital tools, along with a strong ethical mindset and commitment to serving unserved and underserved communities.
