Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor – Electrical to supervise and coordinate electrical assembly operations on the shop floor. The candidate will be responsible for managing the electrical assembly team, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and production procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day electrical assembly and wiring activities on the production floor.
- Allocate work to technicians and operators based on production requirements.
- Monitor daily production schedules and ensure targets are achieved within timelines.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Ensure proper assembly, wiring, routing, termination, and installation of electrical components.
- Monitor manpower utilization and coordinate shift activities.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure assemblies meet required specifications.
- Identify wiring, assembly, and production issues and ensure timely corrective action.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Production teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and fixtures.




- Train and guide electrical assembly technicians on SOPs and secure working practices.
- Maintain production reports, shift records, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, quality, and production standards.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline on the shop floor.

Required Skills

- 1-3 years of experience in electrical assembly/manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role.
- ITI Electrical/Electronics or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical assembly, wiring, and panel assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of cable termination, crimping, soldering, connectors, and electrical components.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment such as multimeter and continuity testers.
- Experience in manpower handling and shop-floor supervision.
- Good understanding of production processes and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety practices is preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
