Role Description The Articled Assistant will support the firm’s audit, taxation, and accounting engagements on a day-to-day basis in a full-time, on-site role based in Pune District.

Responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, performing vouching and verification, preparing working papers, and supporting risk assessment procedures under guidance. The role involves working on direct and indirect tax compliances, including GST returns, TDS workings, income tax filings, and basic tax planning support.

The Articled

Assistant will help in bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, preparation of financial statements, and management reports,



as well as supporting corporate compliance activities such as ROC filings and documentation. The position also offers exposure to business advisory and startup/MSME assignments, participation in client meetings, and regular use of accounting and tax software, while maintaining professional ethics and documentation standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should be registered as CA students eligible for articleship under ICAI norms and possess a solid academic foundation in accounting, auditing, and taxation.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounting and bookkeeping, including ledger posting, reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements using accounting software.
- Candidates should possess skills related to audit and assurance, such as vouching, verification, analytical review, and preparation of audit documentation and working papers.
- Candidates should possess skills in business and financial analysis, including data interpretation, report preparation, and an understanding of financial ratios and cash flows.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and other relevant tools, along with the ability to learn and use modern accounting and tax software efficiently.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
- Relevant prior internship or practical experience in a CA firm is an advantage; interest in audit, taxation
