Role Description This is a full-time, in office Assistant Professor role in AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), based in Gujarat, India.

The Assistant

Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AIML, including lectures, labs, tutorials, and project supervision.

Responsibilities include developing and updating course materials, creating assessments, and ensuring alignment with industry-relevant competencies and ImaginXP’s future-skills focus. The role involves mentoring students, guiding them on research and industry projects, supporting placement readiness, and participating in academic events and curriculum enhancement initiatives.

Professor is also expected to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to academic governance, and engage with industry partners to keep the curriculum current.

Qualifications

- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related discipline; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in core AIML areas such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, data preprocessing, model evaluation, and deployment.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in AIML, such as Python, relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and data analysis tools.
- Experience in curriculum design, lesson planning, and creating learning resources that support practical, project-based education.
- Ability to conduct research or applied projects in AIML, and to integrate current industry practices and case studies into teaching.
- Strong classroom management, presentation, and academic mentoring skills, with the ability to support diverse learners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, industry mentors, and academic partners.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education or relevant industry training is highly desirable; experience with Ed-tech platforms or blended learning is a plus.
