Role Description The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying purchase orders, and ensuring timely and accurate payments in alignment with company policies. Day-to-day activities include reviewing and reconciling expense reports, preparing and posting accounting journal entries related to payables, and assisting with month-end closing tasks.

The Accounts Payable

Specialist will collaborate closely with the finance and procurement teams, respond to vendor queries,



maintain up-to-date records, and support audits and process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Candidates should possess experience handling Expense Reports and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), including invoice coding, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to identify discrepancies, support data-driven decisions, and improve payment workflows.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and experience with ERP or accounting software are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong communication, time management, familiarity with GST or local tax regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
