Key Responsibilities (Core Financial Operations & Leadership)

- End-to-End Accounting Management: Oversee daily financial transactions, ledgers, vouchers, petty cash, and multi-bank reconciliations across all business channels.
- Team Supervision & Mentorship: Lead, cross-verify, and mentor the junior accounting team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency.
- MIS & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flow reports, and executive MIS reports for management decision-making.

Retail & E-Commerce Financial Oversight

- Omnichannel Account Reconciliation: Manage and integrate accounts for both offline retail outlets and online e-commerce operations (payment gateways, marketplace settlements, platform fees, and shipping logistics costs).
- Inventory & Stock Audits: Oversee stock valuation, inventory movements, and gold/jewellery weighment reconciliations between retail stores, e-commerce warehouses, and head office registers.

Taxation, Compliance & Audit

- GST & Tax Compliance:



Direct the preparation and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), TDS, TCS, and income tax compliance.
- External Audits: Lead internal and external audit preparation, liaise with statutory auditors, and ensure strict statutory compliance.
- Vendor & Customer Management: Oversee vendor payables, customer collections, credit policies, and vendor dispute resolutions.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent background in Finance & Accounting.
- Experience: 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience (Experience in the jewellery, retail, or wholesale/e-commerce sector is strongly preferred).
- Software Proficiency:
- Advanced expertise in specialized Jewellery ERP software.
- High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).
- Hands-on knowledge of GST portals, e-way bills, and digital payment systems.
- Key Skills: Team leadership, sharp attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and inventory control acumen.
- Languages: Malayalam and English (Fluency in Hindi is a distinct advantage).
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in or around Thrissur preferred.
