Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Assistant role based in Mumbai, intended for candidates who can join immediately and reside in or are willing to work in Mumbai.

The Accounts

Assistant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, managing petty cash, and assisting with invoice processing and payment follow-ups. The role involves supporting credit control activities, tracking receivables, coordinating with internal teams and clients for payments, and preparing basic financial reports.

Assistant will also assist with reconciliations, documentation for audits,



and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures. Consistent communication with the finance team and other departments is required to keep records accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess accounting and finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger management, and understanding of financial principles.
- Candidates should possess credit control skills to monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and support healthy cash flow.
- Candidates should possess petty cash management skills to record, track, and reconcile small cash expenses accurately.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors in a clear and professional manner.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel is desirable, along with attention to detail and solid numerical ability.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred, and prior experience in logistics or a similar industry is an advantage.
