Role Description The Accountant at Venkat Switchgears HQ will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and invoice processing.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and payable, supporting budgeting activities, and assisting with tax and statutory compliance. The role also involves reconciling bank accounts, monitoring cash flow, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications





- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including experience with ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management for industrial or project-based businesses.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit support within the local regulatory environment.
- Comfort with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel and general IT skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or electrical systems industries is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge in Tally Prime ,GST, tax filling, GSTR1,GSTR2,GSTR3.
