Core Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting &
- Statements: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and profit-and-loss (P&L;) reports.
- General Ledger &
- Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, record daily financial transactions, and reconcile bank or credit card statements.
- Accounts Payable &
- Receivable: Process vendor invoices, monitor customer collections, and manage payments.
- Budgeting &
- Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets, track financial forecasts, and report expense variances to management.
- Tax &
- Compliance: Compute taxes, prepare corporate or individual tax returns, and ensure adherence to GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Audits: Gather documentation, support internal and external audits, and resolve financial discrepancies.
