Job Title: Accountant - Finance & Accounts

Experience: 4 to 7 Years

Monthly Gross Salary: INR 45,000 to INR 65,000

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Weekends Off)

Office Location: Godrej IT Park, Vikhroli

Job Summary:

Role Summary The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory compliance, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, payroll-related regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
- Support payroll accounting and ensure timely processing of employee-related financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, and customer collections.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist management with financial analysis, cost control initiatives, and expense monitoring.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient financial processes and reporting.

Education & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Skilled certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, CPA,



or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4-7 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate, industrial, or project-based environment.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Indian GAAP and basic financial reporting standards.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis.
- Excellent reconciliation and bookkeeping skills.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, payroll accounting, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working in the Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore, Engineering, or EPC industry.
- Exposure to project accounting, cost monitoring, and profitability analysis.
- Experience handling audits and statutory compliance independently.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
