Job Overview

Central Hardwares is looking for an experienced Finance, Accounts & MIS Manager to manage and develop the central finance function across our multiple showrooms, godowns and business entities.

The candidate will be responsible for consolidating accounts, analysing business performance, monitoring inventory and working capital, preparing management reports, and implementing strong financial controls and standard operating procedures.

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional who can establish systems, improve financial transparency and support the company’s expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Consolidate accounting records and financial statements across all locations and business entities.
- Manage monthly financial closing, bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, UPI reconciliation and stock reconciliation.
- Analyse sales, purchases, expenses, profitability and margins by product, brand, customer and location.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock ageing, stock movement and physical stock verification.
- Track customer outstanding balances, receivables ageing, supplier payables and cash flow.
- Prepare daily sales and collection reports, weekly performance reports and monthly MIS reports.
- Develop location-wise profit and loss statements, budgets and budget-versus-actual reports.
- Coordinate with the Credit Control Executive to monitor outstanding payments and improve collection visibility.
- Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants and auditors for GST, TDS, income tax and statutory compliance.
- Standardise accounting practices, reporting formats, financial policies and SOPs across locations.
- Guide accounts and billing staff and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Recommend improvements to accounting software, internal controls and financial processes.




- Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations for pricing, purchasing, cost control and business expansion.

Required Qualifications
- B.Com or M.Com is mandatory.
- MBA Finance, CMA, CA Inter or CA qualification is preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in multi-location accounting, financial consolidation, MIS or finance controllership.
- Experience in trading, distribution, retail or building materials is preferred.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho or similar systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage.
- Good understanding of inventory accounting, stock ageing, margin analysis and working capital.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and income tax compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial reporting skills.
- Ability to build systems and processes from the ground up.
- High integrity, accuracy and discretion when handling financial information.
- Positive communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Fluency in Malayalam and English.

Additional Requirements
- Must be based in or willing to relocate near Erattupetta, Kerala.
- Willingness to travel between showrooms and godowns, including the Vagamon location.
- Ability to work directly with management and coordinate with sales, purchase, accounts, billing, stores and credit control teams.
