TVS Academy, Tumkur invites applications for the newly created post of Academic Director, who will work alongside the Principal. The Principal oversees administration, discipline, student welfare, and daily operations. The Academic Director is responsible for curriculum and pedagogy, academic audits and assessment quality, parent communication on academic matters, and all liaison with CBSE, the State Education Department, and allied agencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic direction for curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment across all grades
- Oversee lesson planning, question paper quality, and the academic calendar
- Monitor learning outcomes and lead continuous improvement
- Conduct internal academic audits and ensure quality assurance
- Mentor coordinators and teachers; plan career development
- Lead parent meetings, orientations, and academic communication
- Represent the school before the CBSE Regional Office and the State Education Department




- Oversee affiliation requirements, inspections, and statutory compliance
- Keep the school current with CBSE circulars .

Eligibility criteria

- Minimum [10] years in CBSE schools, including [5] years in a senior leadership role
- Thorough knowledge of CBSE bye-laws, affiliation norms, and assessment frameworks
- Proven experience in dealing with regulatory bodies
- Excellent English communication; Kannada/Hindi/Tamil is an advantage
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
